The "Back to School Celebration" Update.
Updated:
-The completion of ME II plus another Random Interlude.
-One new chapter of MN (that I just wrote because I needed to have an update for that).
-Part 9 of In the Darkness.
-New icons: 3 Final Fantasy, 7 other, 2 Yu-Gi-Oh!

I meant to update this back at the end of June... but it never got online. So you get that update, plus more this time. The completion of ME is up this time. And it's about time because I'm pretty sure I promised that for a while. So here it is. As well as another fun Random Interlude. I really like writing those, if you didn't notice from the last one. If you'd like other reading I have a Kingdom Hearts humor story in my story lj: geek_rader... I'm looking forward to when school starts, not for another week for me, hopefully you all will have a good school year (providing you go to school in some way, shape, or form). And, hopefully, I'll be able to provide you with a little liesure time as you look at my site. Unless I'm too busy in which case I'll probably forget about this for another month or two (hopefully not).

If anyone wants suggested reading, I've read a few books recently that are really good. There's the Abhorsen Series (starting with Sabrael), and Shade's Children by Garth Nix. Very good writer. If you want fanfiction written by someone better than me, I'd try Bagenders (for LotR humor) or FirstMate's stories (for something more serious), or The Games of the Gods by Crimson Starlight which is a really GREAT LotR story where two girls go to Middle earth (way better than mine, I cringe to look at my story in it's shadow... Okay, not really, they're both kind of different scales of humor, is all. And now you all have enough to stave you off until I update again. Right? Right.

The forecast for my next update is looking... partly cloudy... temperatures in the mid-eighties... I'm not really sure when EM is going to be updated. As soon as I can think of enough people to fill in the mandatory parts (which I just decided wouldn't actually be necessary and thought of a good twist I could make which would mean I'd definately have more in the next update). I would estimate... not BEFORE the end of September. Most likely sometime around October. If not before, I'll try really hard to have at least one update up by Halloween.

I, Rachel (aka-Merry, Cuz, Rach, Aauugh!), am the creator of this site. It contains stories written by me on a variety of subjects and in a variety of genres; an elvish word/phrase list as well as some links to other dictionaries; a gallery of pictures I've drawn, some original, some based on my favorite games; a collection of livejournal icons I have made, a variety of types are included; and, of course, a guestbook where you can give me your feedback, which, by the way, I like very much; and a newly added section Previous updates where you can see a backlog of updates I've made.

My hobbies: writing, sketching, making livejournal icons with Paint Shop Pro, trying to determine what's wrong with my car and/or fix it, looking at my mouse pad, playing video games, biking, basketball, archery and while I am no longer told I enjoy it: running--I have come to find that I kind of do. I've recently gotten into Karate, and figuring out what will transfer and why I have to take all these pointless classes!

I like "Lord of the Rings" (both the books and the films, but I prefer the books), Star Wars (I prefer the original trilogy), Star Trek (Again, I like the original the best), Horatio Hornblower (I've read the first couple of books and seen the first film, very good), Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Calvin and Hobbes, swords, and that little voice in your head that can never quite seem to condone what you're doing.

I hope you enjoy this site as much as I enjoyed making it.
